// Keep me near the cross, near the cross. May I never stray so far. //
At The Foot Of The Cross: Ray Boltz
Jesus makes a way where there seems to be no way.
What an honor it is to post on Holy Week. For those that don’t know or unfamiliar with the tradition. Starting this past Sunday through to this coming Sunday Christians celebrate and honor the week Christ died from the ride in on Palm Sunday through the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.
So what lie can we expose today? One of the most ultimate lies the enemy tells people is that you are not loved and that you are not worth love.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 NKJV
This is a go-to verse. If you believe this to be true, there is this hope you have that even when you die there is a forever to live with the King of Kings. Now, are you whosoever? Of course, you are! This opportunity to receive Christ is here. An open opportunity. No strings attached.
So to give a reason why? As we live we constantly have people fail us. They leave good, bad, and ugly ways. There is not a true person to always identify Christ in. Even Christians mess up and misrepresent Him. So why would you serve Him if everyone else chooses to live indifferently? When those that don’t know Christ seem to be having the most fun.
Stop judging Christians for the very things some Christians have accused you of. We have in our minds and hearts scars that have been made by people. Good people, bad people, close people, and strangers. There is no limit to the hurt.
An act of love made a difference. You not all Christians are mean, bitter, hateful, and judgmental. Even those that are, they need Jesus too. That fact is we are imperfect. Not a man or woman who’ve walked this Earth ever was except 1. His name? JESUS.
“knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
I Peter 1:18-19 NKJV
So why would this man lay down His life? He chose to. He saw into the future and knew YOU would go through life. The good parts, the bad parts, and the ugly unmentionable parts that are so hidden and buried that no one knows. He saw you were worth it. He saw someone who could change the future by living their best life in the present.
Yes, people who don’t know Jesus have fun. But their fun eventually comes to an end. What about the wealthy? Well, they have their fun. At least until the money runs out. What happens that good kid that never does wrong? What about the day they do and their world quickly spirals down?
We can’t place limitations on encounters with Christ. We see only what we can see and sometimes that means our vision is eschewed. We have blinders on to living our best life. Especially, the life God always intended for us to have.
“For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.”
Psalms 86:5 NKJV
What if you lived a life free of blame. A life free of guilt. A life free of shame. That life can be yours. It doesn’t mean the world always forgets the things you’ve been through or done. But the one that matters protects you from those words and hold you close and never leaves or forsakes you.
This description is love. To look past who you’ve been and says “there you are! The person I’ve always called you to be.” A person that knows I, God, made you and you have received my greatest gift of love. You understand you have always been worth it to me. That’s the power of love. That’s the love that wants to empower you.
Jesus rose again, not to just live again. But that you may receive hope. Without Jesus, we live in a fallen world where very rotten things happen to good and bad people every day. But with Hope. Everything changes.
“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power”
Ephesians 1:17-19 NKJV
This message isn’t a knife to your throat saying “turn or burn.” It’s releasing you to make a choice pressing into the slight chance of Hope that will change your life. To give you that second, third, fourth chance to start over. He loves you and found you worth dying for.
We want to wish you a Happy Easter/ Resurrection Sunday for our king is no longer in the tomb but has risen to Heavenly place waiting for the call of His triumphant return. Join us next week as we wrap this month up. The lies have been exposed. What are you going to do about it?

Hello friends, I’m Marco. I’m an RN, & founder of Four Winds, a ministerial blog.
I have a heart for this generation to know who they are & whose they are. I also contend for revival to cover college campuses. As well as preach the word until every nation has heard. Sharing Jesus with all, & showing the love that was once shown me.
