// When I don’t know what steps to take. When I don’t know what moves to make. This one thing I can’t escape. Your love. //
Mountain To Valley: Bread & Wine and Ben Smith
It will be worth the wait when it’s all said and done.
Month 1 is already gone. Time has lingered and speeded by at the same time. Starting off in the warm warm sun followed by the icy tundra of inconsistency. Not fun! Today we’re going to get real. If I haven’t already said it I’m saying it now. It’s going to be worth it. BUT. It’s not going to be without sacrifice and that’s going to cost you something. It’s not going to be easy and it’s not always going to be fun. BUT. It’s going to be worth it.
Walking your journey out is sometimes the hardest thing you’ll ever do. I feel like this month I’ve scared you into moving with God but it’s far from it. In my own personal journey, I found even though it can be scary to find the unknown. I know He that brought me to it will bring me through it.
I’ve begun a journey to become a teacher. Even after the process of becoming a nurse. I chose to follow Him where He May lead. It’s not conventional. It’s scary. It’s unknown. But when you step out in faith you have to be willing to risk it. Sacrifice, though you should use it as a motivation to get. You will receive more than you ever know.
The catch of a reward is that it isn’t what you expect. You pour out, and pour out and pour out. He is just and faithful to restore. I’ve come to know that I see the restoration was something I never expected but all that I needed. We have to be willing to stay the course.
The truth is Jesus is better. It may not come as you want. It may not come when you want. It rarely shows up how you want. BUT. He knows best. He knows exactly what you need.
Your process is going to be different than someone else. Stop comparing your personal relationship with Christ with that of someone else. You don’t know what someone had to pay in order to get where they are. In just. Most people don’t know what you’ve been through.
We’ve been in a culture that judges the reward only by what they can see. We can give up too soon. You can be the difference. You can choose to be one who endures. Scripture tells us to seek His face. To endure until the end. You can be more than meets the eye. Don’t sell yourself short for what He’s called you to be. Keep running. Keep believing.
“When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.”
Psalms 27:8 NKJV
“I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
Psalms 34:1 NKJV
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
II Timothy 4:7 NKJV
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
Galatians 6:9 NKJV
Though January isn’t over, this series is. Next week we will have a special post being that it is the 5th Thursday.
Hello friends, I’m Marco. I’m an RN, & founder of Four Winds, a ministerial blog.
I have a heart for this generation to know who they are & whose they are. I also contend for revival to cover college campuses. As well as preach the word until every nation has heard. Sharing Jesus with all, & showing the love that was once shown me.
