// Your promise still stands. Great is Your faithfulness, faithfulness. I’m still in Your hands. This is my confidence, You never failed. //
Do It Again: Elevation Worship
Remember what He has done for you already, He’ll do it again.
Our journey of discovering the importance of faith has come to an end. We learned about receiving our mission in Show Me That Boat. Sometimes, that means we may have some ridicule & we just have to believe in God through the storm in Up To Here. Unfortunately even after all is said & done you can have a waiting season that can feel never-ending in You Sank My Battleship. So now what happens after I receive my breakthrough?
To answer this question we have to review the process. So let’s turn back time. We first have to accept the mission the Lord has given us. Even if only for a season. We have to say “yes.” He’ll also honor a “no,” because that’s what a loving father does. He will respect your choice. He is there everytime to turn the situation around in your favor & good, regardless.
So most of the time prior to “show time” we’ve probably had some trials we had to go through that made us equipped. Noah had those. Though we don’t hear about them, it’s the same things we have to go through. The task to do good. Be good.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”
John 13:34 NKJV
Though it may seem foreign or abstract, loving ALL changes the game. Now Noah lived in the time where all of humanity was corrupt at heart. He lived day in & day out in this community. He had to know how to love well. Without love for His people, he’d been broken to follow the same path.
Noah must have had to display some acts of random kindness. He had sons who needed wives. So to be kind to dark-hearted women in order to accept and receive them into his family. Like I said we just don’t think about it. Everyone’s process is different. We’ve gone off on this tangent because WE STILL NEED LOVE TODAY!!
The tactics of the enemy have not changed because they still work. But God! With the world we live in now, in the present, we see horrible things. However, there is hope. We can stand to be the difference. We can stand to show love.
“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:35 NKJV
Jesus with skin on. Which means, we have to be the best representation of Christ we can be. Much like being given a seasonal mission, we have also been commissioned to do wonderful things. We still have to say “yes” and be willing to risk it all. A great man once said, “faith is spelled R-I-S-K.”
Now about the promise. Promises are not given without a process. They’re married. For every promise, there is a process. For every process, there is a promise. Some are more straightforward than others. Some you won’t realize until the very end.
Genesis 9, tells about the promise Noah received after his process. It’s our promise too. Have you ever seen a rainbow? Did you know it was more than just a coincidence it comes after a rainfall? Well, most people don’t. It’s a promise to never see the world flooded again to the extent Noah went through.
“Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”
Genesis 9:11 NKJV
There’s another point to make here. Once one mission is over, you keep moving. You don’t settle. It’s a strengthening in the Lord. You get to play again! Though you may have thought you can’t do this again, God trusts you.
Though simple, it wasn’t simple at all. Noah & family had to repopulate the earth. He must have thought this whole Ark thing stretched me. Can I have a simple task? But to whom much is given, much is required, Luke 12: 48. The cool thing is not only humans, were commanded to this next mission. Every land animal, insect also had this mission. You see all of Earth longs to obey God. Because even the animals & plants want to belong & honor Jesus.
“But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”
Luke 19:40 NKJV
The final thing I want to leave you with is a purpose. Acts of Random Kindness was always to give glory back to the king. A.R.K. While watching a movie “Evan Almighty,” which is a depiction of the story of Noah, this phrase is used. A.R.K. We’ve all been given an ARK sized mission. To show love.
As this series is now closing, we pray that you’ve had an increase of faith to overcome your current process or just the strength to embrace it. BUT WAIT! March isn’t over! Coming next week will be a special single post. Then we’ll begin a new series we hope redeems your heart.
If you’ve found this enjoyable, please like, & share! If you’ve got a testimony of how these posts are transforming your life, we’d love to hear that too! Until next time, peace & blessings!!
Hello friends, I’m Marco. I’m an RN, & founder of Four Winds, a ministerial blog.
I have a heart for this generation to know who they are & whose they are. I also contend for revival to cover college campuses. As well as preach the word until every nation has heard. Sharing Jesus with all, & showing the love that was once shown me.
